Welcome to my Resources page , a curated list of some of the tools I personally use and recommend. Click on the name of the tool to be taken to their website.

I use every one of the recommendations on this page. I test and use it myself so that I feel comfortable recommending it to you.

Some of the links below are affiliate links, which means that if you choose to make a purchase, I will earn a commission. This commission comes at no additional cost to you. Please understand that I have experience with all of these companies, and I recommend them because they are helpful and useful, not because of the small commissions I make if you decide to buy something. Please do not spend any money on these products unless you feel you need them or that they will help you achieve your goals.

Business Tools:

  • Lead Pages: Lead Pages is such a time saver. Easily create landing pages and web pages with tons of free and premium templates to use. You can even sort them by how well them convert visitors. I especially like Lead boxes which is included with the standard plan. It allows you to create email opt-in forms and deliver lead magnets. Something you may notice a lot on my site.
  • Blue Host: Blue Host is what I use to host all of my websites. They are affordable and reliable. Plus they offer one click WordPress installation and the ability to add multiple domain names to one hosting account.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud: I really like Adobe Creative Cloud because it allows me to use all of Adobe’s programs including Photoshop and Illustrator for a monthly fee. They normally cost an exorbitant amount to buy upfront but this allows me access to all of them for an affordable monthly subscription. Plus I automatically get free updates on the software.
  • Back Blaze: Back Blaze is what I use to automatically and continually back up my computer. It gives me piece of mind to know that if my computer completely crashes or gets hacked I won’t lose everything. The backup lives in the cloud so even if my office burns to the ground I’ll be able to access my backup.

Personal Tools:

  • Amazon Prime: I use Amazon Prime for EVERYTHING. I hardly ever go to the store anymore. Seriously, once you get used to Amazon shipping everything to your door in 2 days or less you’ll never go back. Click here to see how I even use Amazon Prime when I travel for extended periods.
  • Audible: I love audio books. It’s a great way to learn or entertain yourself during long drives or while working out. I listen to a lot of audio books so using Audible allows me to save money using their subscription to get a credit for a book every month.
  • MeUndies: They claim it’s the most comfortable underwear on earth and I can’t argue with that. Plus I’m signed up to receive a new pair of undies every month. Their designs are freaking awesome! Try it and thank me later.
  • HeadSpace: I’d been hearing about the benefits of meditation for a long time from people like Tim Ferris and Jerry Seinfeld. HeadSpace makes it easy to get started and not feel like a weirdo.
  • Apple Music: I love Apple Music because it’s so easy. It works right on my iPhone and I can stream and download any song I want.

RV/Travel Tools:

  • Passport America: Passport America let’s you save 50% on over 1900 campgrounds. It totally pays for itself if you use it just a few times. Beware that sometimes Campground won’t honor the Passport America rate if it is high season for them. I’ve run into that a few times but overall I save a bunch of money using Passport America.
  • Roadtrippers: I use the Roadtrippers app to plan all of my trips. It shows you mileage, time, and even how much you’ll spend on gas. Plus it allows me to save places that I want to visit later and see them on a searchable map. I would always learn about cool places I wanted to visit but I’d forget about them or never be able to find the bookmark when I needed it. This makes it simple and intuitive.

Some of My Favorite Places to Learn More:

  • SmartPassiveIncome.com – Pat Flynn: Pat Flynn is one of those great guys who is extremely generous, helpful, and trustworthy. He’s got tons of information on online businesses and is one of the main reasons my site exists today.
  • FourHourWorkWeek.com – Tim Ferriss: Tim Ferriss is just awesome! You’ve probably heard of his book, “The 4 Hour Workweek” but he offers so much more than that. I’ve got a bit of a man crush on him.
  • Stuff You Should Know Podcast: This isn’t a business related podcast but it’s awesome! Every podcast episode covers a different topic ranging from Lego’s to Plasma Waste Converters. Plus the guys who host it, Josh and Chuck, are two guys who you’d want to be friends with.
